Junior SQA Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for a Junior SQA Engineer to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in manual testing along with basic knowledge or experience in automation testing. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and stability of our products by identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and maintain test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Identify, record, and track bugs through the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality at every stage.
• Participate in requirement analysis and contribute to test planning.
• Assist in setting up and maintaining automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Postman, or similar frameworks.
• Conduct regression, smoke, and performance testing when required.
• Prepare detailed test reports and communicate results to the team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 1+ year of experience in Software Quality Assurance (manual or automation).
• Basic understanding of automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright).
• Familiarity with API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and proactive in identifying issues and suggesting improvements.

Good to Have:

• Experience with JIRA or other bug-tracking tools.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
• Exposure to performance or security testing tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs150,000.00 per month
