Job description:
We are looking for a Junior SQA Engineer to join our team at SoftCircles. SoftCircles is a dynamic IT Services and IT Consulting company specializing in software development and digital solutions, committed to delivering innovative and high-quality services to our clients.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in manual testing of web applications and a basic understanding of frontend and backend testing processes. As a Junior QA Engineer, you will assist in designing and executing test cases, identifying issues, and working closely with the development team to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating and executing test plans and test cases for web applications and mobile applications.
• Perform manual testing of frontend interfaces and backend functionality.
• Log, track, and follow up on bugs and issues using defect tracking tools.
• Support regression and smoke testing to validate application functionality after changes.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and other team members to understand project requirements and provide QA feedback.
• Learn and gradually contribute to automation testing initiatives using tools like Selenium or Cypress.
• Continuously improve skills in testing methodologies and QA best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 6 months to 1 years of experience in QA or software testing.
• Basic knowledge of testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Postman).
• Understanding of QA concepts, test case design, and bug reporting.
• Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and API testing is a plus.
• Eagerness to learn automation and performance testing techniques.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Willingness to learn automation and performance testing
