Junior SQA Engineer

Wolfiz Solutions is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Junior SQA Engineer with a strong interest in web and mobile application testing. This role is ideal for candidates with up to 1 year of experience in software quality assurance who are eager to grow, learn, and contribute within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform end-to-end functional, regression, and UI testing for web and mobile applications (Android & iOS) to ensure functionality, usability, performance, and compatibility across browsers and devices.
• Write and execute detailed test cases, test plans, and checklists based on business requirements and technical specifications.
• Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman to validate backend services and integrations.
• Identify, report, and track bugs using tools like Jira, Trello, or other bug tracking platforms, ensuring clear documentation and follow-up.
• Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product managers to support timely and high-quality releases.
• Participate in requirement analysis and contribute to defining test strategies and quality standards.
• Prepare and maintain test documentation, test reports, and basic release notes, suggesting quality improvements where applicable.
• Perform basic mobile app testing on real devices and emulators/simulators.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Up to 1 year of experience in software quality assurance, with exposure to web and/or mobile application testing.
• Hands-on experience in writing and executing manual test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (Jira, Trello, TestRail, etc.).
• Basic understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, with a quality-first and user-focused mindset.
