Job Summary:
The Associate UI Designer – eCommerce plays a key role within a creative, user-focused team that drives impactful digital initiatives across all areas of the organization’s eCommerce business. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality UI design solutions, supporting omni-channel initiatives that improve conversion rates, and ensuring consistency with brand standards across all platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design pixel-perfect UI solutions for the organization’s online properties across desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms.
- Support the development of digital art direction and execution of omni-channel campaigns to optimize customer engagement and conversion.
- Contribute to the design of homepages, experiential landing pages, emails, display advertising banners, and special digital projects.
- Maintain brand guidelines and establish design-related usability standards to ensure a consistent user experience.
- Conduct QA reviews of design implementations to confirm accuracy and quality.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Interactive Media, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1–2 years of professional experience in UI/UX design or digital design, preferably within an eCommerce or retail environment.
Special Requirements:
- Portfolio showcasing strong UI design skills across responsive platforms.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong understanding of UI and UX best practices and fundamentals of web design.
- Proficiency with industry-standard design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Solid skills in typography, clean layout, purposeful color usage, and attention to detail.
- Ability to design intuitive, user-friendly, and responsive interfaces across devices.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-disciplinary team environment.
Additional Desired Characteristics:
- Familiarity with front-end development principles and web usability standards.
- Knowledge of eCommerce design trends and omni-channel marketing execution.
- Ability to balance creativity with business goals and technical feasibility.
Work Environment:
- 100% fully remote role.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
