Junior Video Editor

Role Overview

We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented Junior Video Editor to join our team. You’ll be responsible for taking raw footage and transforming it into polished, engaging content for [insert platforms, e.g., YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, or Corporate use].

This is the perfect role for a "freshy" who has mastered the basics, has a killer eye for pacing, and is ready to level up their skills in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assembly & Editing: Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the video.
• Storytelling: Ensure logical sequencing and smooth transitions to keep viewers engaged.
• Audio Enhancement: Basic sound design, including leveling audio, adding background music, and syncing voiceovers.
• Motion Graphics: Create simple but effective text overlays, lower thirds, and call-to-action animations.
• Format Optimization: Export videos in various formats and aspect ratios (9:16, 16:9, 4:5) optimized for different social platforms.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the creative lead to implement feedback and hit deadlines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 6 months to 1 year of professional or high-level freelance experience.
• Software: Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro is a must. (Knowledge of DaVinci Resolve, After Effects or CapCut Desktop is a huge plus).
• The "Eye": A solid understanding of color correction, grading, and visual pacing.
• Efficiency: Ability to manage files organized (naming conventions matter!) and meet project deadlines.
• Portfolio: A reel or portfolio showcasing your best work (even if it’s personal projects or internship work).
