Role Description

We are hiring a Junior Video Editor and Graphic Designer to own day-to-day video editing for our social channels, support the design team with social media visuals, and produce simple 2D motion videos when needed. We need someone who can move fast, follow brand guidelines, and turn raw content into clean short-form edits, animated explainers, and platform-ready assets.

Responsibilities:

Video editing and social content (main focus)

• Edit short-form videos for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts (cuts, pacing, captions/subtitles, sound, transitions).
• Create platform-ready exports (aspect ratios, safe zones, bitrates, file naming).
• Produce multiple variations of the same video for testing (different hooks, captions, openings, durations).
• Organize raw footage, project files, and exports in a clean structure we can scale with.

2D motion and animated videos

• Produce simple 2D animated videos for social and ads (text animations, icon animations, transitions, lower thirds, end cards).
• Build lightweight motion templates that we can reuse across campaigns (titles, intros, outros, caption styles).
• Support animated explainers and feature videos using existing brand assets (illustrations, icons, UI screenshots).

Social media design support

• Support social media designs when needed (posts, stories, carousels, reel covers, ad creatives).
• Adapt existing templates and layouts across multiple formats and brands while keeping consistency.
• Prepare visual assets for performance campaigns with fast iterations based on feedback.

Team collaboration and execution

• Work closely with content, marketing, and design teams to understand briefs, brand tone, and deadlines.
• Apply feedback quickly and maintain version control across rounds.
• Keep brand guidelines respected across all outputs (fonts, colors, logo usage, style).

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in video editing, with supporting graphic design skills.
• Ability to produce 2D motion videos (basic to intermediate level).
• Agency experience is preferred (multi-brand, high-volume, fast turnaround).
• Strong portfolio with short-form edits plus 2D motion samples (showreel or samples required).
• Strong sense of rhythm, pacing, hooks, and on-screen typography for social content.
• Tools:
• Video editing: Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent
• 2D motion: After Effects (preferred) or equivalent
• Design: Photoshop and Illustrator (Figma is a plus)
• Good file organization habits (project setup, naming, folders, exports).
• Ability to work under deadlines, manage multiple tasks, and keep quality consistent.
• E-Commerce background is a plus.
