Junior Web Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Developer with 1-2 years of experience to join our growing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining our web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in PHP and a keen interest in working with Laravel and CodeIgniter applications. Key Responsibilities

· Assist in the development, testing, and maintenance of robust and scalable web applications using PHP and the Codeigniter/Laravel framework.

· Collaborate with senior developers and designers to translate UI/UX wireframes and concepts/requirements into functional code.

· Identify and troubleshoot bugs, and perform routine code optimizations for performance.

· Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices and code quality are maintained.

· Learn and integrate new technologies and tools as required by project needs.

· Work within version control systems.

· Communicate effectively with team members on project progress and challenges.

Required Skills & Qualifications

· 1-2 years of professional experience in software development.

· Solid understanding of core PHP and object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.

· Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with Laravel and CodeIgniter.

· Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.

· Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON for integration.

· Basic understanding of MySQL or other relational databases.

· Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.

· Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

· A passion for learning new technologies and eagerness to take on new challenges.

· Candidates having completed internship for 6-12 months can also apply.
