Job Description
EOS Healthcare Marketing is seeking a Junior Web Developer to join our in-house creative team full-time. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented developer who’s passionate about creating, maintaining, and optimizing high-performing websites for healthcare clients.
In this role, you’ll report to the Creative Director and work under the guidance of our Lead Web Developer. You’ll contribute to new website builds while also supporting ongoing maintenance, hosting, and security for client sites as part of our Concierge Web Service program.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development, testing, and deployment of new client websites.
- Perform regular maintenance and updates to keep sites secure, functional, and visually current.
- Manage and support premium hosting environments, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Conduct site diagnostics, uptime monitoring, and malware/security scans to identify and address issues proactively.
- Implement WordPress core, theme, and plugin updates on an ongoing schedule.
- Maintain WCAG 2.0 accessibility compliance across all websites.
- Support automatic and on-demand site backups and help with restores when needed.
- Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and project managers to implement content and UX updates throughout the year.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Contribute to documentation and process improvements related to web management.
Qualifications
- 1 year of professional web development experience
- Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern responsive design principles
- Strong understanding of User Experience (UX) and mobile-first layouts
- Hands-on experience with WordPress: theme customization, plugin management, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
- Experience managing DNS, domain records, SSL certificates, and hosting settings
- Skilled with DigitalOcean, ServerPilot, Cloudflare, and staging-to-live deployments
- Familiar with Divi, Elementor, ACF, and component-based theme structures
- Working knowledge of technical SEO, including metadata, accessibility, image optimization, and site speed
- Ability to maintain WCAG 2.0 accessibility standards across client websites
- Basic experience with PHP and SQL for debugging and backend adjustments
- Comfortable using ClickUp, Passwork, and Figma for collaboration and workflow management
- Experienced in performing maintenance, updates, uptime monitoring, malware/security scans, and backups
- Strong problem-solving skills with clear communication and fast issue resolution
- Contributes to documentation, SOPs, and continuous process improvements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
