Tresmind Solutions is looking for a Junior WordPress Developer who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to building and maintaining high-quality websites. This role is ideal for candidates with up to 1 year of experience who have a basic understanding of WordPress development and want to enhance their skills in a professional environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesWordPress Development

• Assist in developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites.
• Support theme customization using page builders such as Elementor or WPBakery.
• Help implement basic custom functionalities, shortcodes, and plugins under supervision.
• Work with tools like Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) for managing dynamic content.
• Assist in creating and managing content structures, including custom post types and taxonomies.

Website Design & Implementation

• Build responsive and user-friendly web pages.
• Assist in creating page layouts, templates, and UI components.
• Ensure websites are mobile-friendly and compatible across browsers.
• Support WooCommerce setup and basic customization tasks.

Performance, SEO & Maintenance

• Assist in optimizing website performance (image optimization, basic caching).
• Follow basic on-page SEO practices (meta tags, headings, etc.).
• Help with website updates, backups, and routine maintenance.
• Identify and report bugs or issues in websites.

Support & Learning

• Troubleshoot basic WordPress issues with guidance from senior developers.
• Assist in content updates and minor bug fixes.
• Provide basic support on platforms like Wix, Shopify, or Webflow (if required).
• Stay updated with WordPress trends, tools, and best practices.

Technical Skills & RequirementsCore Skills

• Basic understanding of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with WordPress dashboard, themes, and plugins.
• Understanding of how WordPress works (themes, plugins, basic structure).
• Basic knowledge of MySQL/database concepts.

WordPress Knowledge

• Familiarity with page builders like Elementor or WPBakery.
• Basic understanding of ACF, custom post types, or taxonomies is a plus.
• Awareness of website speed optimization and SEO fundamentals is a plus.
• Exposure to WooCommerce is a plus.

Tools (Good to Have)

• Basic knowledge of Git (version control).
• Familiarity with local development tools (XAMPP, LocalWP, etc.).
• Exposure to Wix, Shopify, or Webflow is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 6–12 months of experience in WordPress development.
• Portfolio or sample projects (live) preferred.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
