Juris Doctorate - Unlicensed

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with a Juris Doctorate to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This role involves conducting legal research and drafting documents, with a preference for candidates experienced in immigration law. The position is part-time, offering flexibility to suit your schedule while contributing to meaningful legal projects.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Accurint to support case preparation.
• Draft and review affidavits, correspondence, and other legal documents with precision and efficiency.
• Manage calendars and schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to deadlines.
• Utilize systems like Microsoft Access and Concur to organize and track case-related information.
• Assist in discovery processes, including gathering and analyzing relevant data.
• Provide excellent customer service while addressing client inquiries and maintaining clear communication.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and project execution.
• Maintain and update management systems to reflect accurate and current case information.
• Handle administrative tasks related to legal operations and case management.
• Support immigration-related legal work, leveraging expertise in the field.
• Possess a Juris Doctorate degree (unlicensed candidates are welcome).
• Demonstrated experience in legal writing and research.
• Proficiency in using LexisNexis, Accurint, and other legal research tools.
• Strong organizational skills, including calendar and schedule management.
• Familiarity with software such as Concur and Microsoft Access.
• Ability to draft affidavits, correspondence, and discovery documents.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Knowledge of immigration law is highly preferred.
