As the Justice Liaison, you will play a crucial role under the guidance of the Director of Outpatient Behavioral Health. You will manage projects that provide vital assistance to individuals and their families who are justice-involved. Hourly Pay Rate: $29.20 - $43.07
Qualifications
Education:
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health or criminal justice-related field with 2 years of behavioral health experience or BHT level with two years of behavioral health experience specific to the program position.
- Pursuant to Arizona Administrative Code R9-10-306 CHAPTER 10 of the Dept. of Health Services, personnel must be at least 21 years of age or at least 18 years of age and licensed or certified under A.R.S. Title 32 and providing services within the personnel member’s scope of practice.
Experience:
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience working within the criminal justice system or community health services that demonstrates a strong understanding of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Previous strategy and basic data and reporting experience is preferred.
- Previous program implementation or development is preferred.
Certification/Licensure:
- Must obtain a fingerprint card as defined in Arizona Revised Statute (A.R.S.) 36-425.03 and state licensing rule R9-10-1011(A)(4) within 90 days of employment.
- Requires possession of and ability to retain a current, valid AZ-issued driver’s license in good standing and must carry the AZ legally required minimum insurance coverage on personal vehicle at all times.
- Requires BLS card obtained through an approved American Heart Association (AHA) training center upon hire.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must demonstrate the ability to implement and assess the effectiveness of justice-related programmatic initiatives by developing, tracking, and reporting on meaningful evaluation metrics.
- Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills both verbally and in writing to successfully coordinate with criminal justice resources as well as to facilitate meetings with justice partners and actively participate in regional and statewide justice initiatives.
- Must have experience maintaining confidential health records in accordance with agency and funding source requirements.
- Must have exceptional interpersonal skills, be a team player, and be able to communicate with diverse populations.
- Requires excellent organizational skills, working with professionals, and maintaining confidentiality standards to coordinate intensive outreach and peer support services to members.
- Requires ability to coordinate with the treatment team, criminal justice resources, court system, probation/parole officers, mental health court, and health plans to provide case management within the community and home based as needed.
- Requires an understanding of delivering evidence-based practices to improve health outcomes.
- Requires creativity, initiative, independent thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Requires excellent computer skills, including the ability to analyze data sets for reporting.
- Must have demonstrated leadership abilities and strong public speaking skills.
- Requires the ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English.

Schedule: Regular FT 40 Hours Per Week, Days
