Juvenile Probation Officer

The Logan County Family Court is looking for a full time Juvenile Probation Officer. The Logan County Family Court is dedicated to justice, community well-being, and partnerships that protect, support, and empower individuals and families by providing quality, timely, and respectful services.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Supervision and case management of court-involved youth, including accurate data entry and documentation.
• Monitor compliance with court orders and provide regular updates and reports to the Court.
• Coordinate services with schools, mental health providers, and community agencies.
• Prepare and draft court-ordered Judgment Entries and related documents.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Social Work, or related field required.
• Experience working with adolescents and families preferred.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Must have good organizational, verbal, and written communication skills, and extensive knowledge of Microsoft word and Excel.
• Must be professional in demeanor and attitude.
• Must be able to work with public, court employees, professionals and as a member of a community intervention team.
• Must have reliable transportation, Ohio driver’s license, and clean driving record.
