K-12 Academic Tutor (Part-Time)

At Tutor Doctor, we believe every student can succeed with the right support. We’re looking for compassionate, reliable K–12 Academic Tutors to provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring and help students build confidence and strong academic skills.

This is a flexible, part-time role ideal for educators, college students, and anyone passionate about making a difference in students lives!

What You’ll Do

• Provide one-on-one tutoring for K–12 students (math, reading, writing, science, and study skills)
• Personalize sessions based on each student’s learning style and goals
• Help with homework, test prep, and academic skill-building
• Create a positive, encouraging learning environment
• Track progress and communicate via session reports

What We’re Looking For

• Strong understanding of at least one core subject (Math, English, Science, etc.)
• Experience working with students (tutoring, teaching, mentoring, childcare, etc.)
• Reliable, patient, and engaging
• Strong communication skills
• Currently enrolled in or graduated from college (preferred)
• Valid Driver's License and reliable personal vehicle to get to and from sessions

Schedule

• Part-time, flexible hours
• After-school and evening availability preferred
• In-person opportunities available
