Tutor Doctor is building a roster of experienced tutors interested in providing individual and group tutoring services for adult learners with disabilities. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting adults with disabilities in building literacy, academic, and vocational skills.This is not your typical K-12 tutoring role (although if you have K-12 experience that is a major plus!). You would be working with adult learners who are working toward real-life goals &mdash; whether that is improving foundational literacy, developing job-ready skills, or preparing for the Hi-SET (GED) exam.What This Role Could Involve<ul><li>Providing individual or group tutoring to adults with learning disabilities and other disabilities</li><li>Supporting literacy development for adult learners</li><li>Helping students build academic skills relevant to their personal and vocational goals</li><li>Assisting students in developing vocational and workplace-readiness skills</li><li>Preparing students for the Hi-SET (GED) exam</li><li>Adapting teaching methods and materials to meet the unique needs of each learner</li></ul>What We're Looking For<ul><li>Teaching experience and strong subject-matter expertise in your area of instruction</li><li>Experience working with individuals with disabilities strongly preferred</li><li>Patient, adaptable, and able to meet learners where they are</li><li>Strong communication skills and a respectful, encouraging approach</li><li>Reliable and professional</li><li>Willingness to complete a background check</li></ul>Why This Role?<ul><li>Make a meaningful, lasting impact in adults' lives and futures</li><li>Flexible scheduling &mdash; individual and group sessions available</li><li>Opportunity to specialize in adult education and disability-inclusive instruction</li><li>Be considered for upcoming opportunities as they become available</li></ul>Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Easton, MA 02334 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
