Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring to K–12 students in Math and/or ELA
• Assess students’ current skill levels and identify learning gaps
• Develop and follow personalized lesson plans based on student needs
• Help students with homework, test preparation (including iLearn), and skill building
• Track student progress and provide feedback to parents and the tutoring coordinator
• Adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles and abilities
• Maintain a positive, patient, and encouraging learning environment
• Communicate regularly regarding scheduling, student updates, and progress
• Arrive on time and maintain professionalism in all sessions (in-person or online)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing a degree (Education, Math, English, or related field preferred)
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience preferred (not required for strong candidates)
• Strong understanding of K–12 Math and/or ELA concepts
• Ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles
• Comfortable working with students of varying academic levels
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Comfortable with in-person and/or online tutoring
• Access to reliable transportation (for in-person sessions)

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2.0 – 10.0 per week
