We are seeking a passionate and dedicated K-5 Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a love for education across elementary grades. In this role, you will create engaging lesson plans, project based learning, implement effective classroom management strategies, and support the holistic development of children from early childhood through fifth grade. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help cultivate a positive learning environment where students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards in literacy, math, science, social studies, and other core subjects.
  • Incorporate diverse teaching strategies, including technology integration and hands-on activities, to meet varied learning styles and needs.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment conducive to learning.
  • Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing preparations.
  • Provide individualized support through tutoring, early intervention strategies, and accommodations for students with special needs or autism.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, lesson planning, and school-wide initiatives such as library services or extracurricular programs.
  • Mentor new teachers or student interns to promote professional growth and uphold high educational standards.

Qualifications

  • Proven classroom experience working with elementary-aged children in a school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
  • Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, literacy education, math instruction, and behavior management techniques.
  • Familiarity with learning technology tools and educational software to enhance student engagement.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, colleagues, and administration.
  • Knowledge of special education strategies, working with children with autism or those requiring early intervention services is preferred.
  • Certification or licensure in elementary education or relevant state requirements is highly desirable.
