Lead Preschool Teacher/Assistant Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our vibrant educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves implementing engaging lesson plans, promoting literacy education, and effectively managing classroom behavior while accommodating the diverse needs of all students, including those with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement creative lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and social interaction among preschool-aged children.
• Utilize Montessori methods and other educational approaches to enhance children's learning experiences.
• Monitor and assess children's progress in literacy education and other developmental milestones.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns.
• Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement strategies and individualized support as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create an inclusive classroom environment that supports children with varying abilities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom space conducive to learning.

Qualifications

• CDA or FCCPC
• Directors Credential
• Experience working in a preschool or early childhood setting is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of Montessori principles is a plus.
• Strong skills in lesson planning and classroom management.
• Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff members.
• Familiarity with literacy education strategies for young learners.
• A compassionate approach to working with children, including those with disabilities.
• Certification in First Aid/CPR is an advantage.

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
