St. Patrick, Wentzville is excited to welcome a faith-filled, innovative, and highly motivated educator to lead and grow our Kindergarten through Grade 8 STEM program. This position offers a unique opportunity to cultivate curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking while supporting the mission of Catholic education.
The K–8 STEM Teacher will design and deliver engaging, hands-on learning experiences that integrate science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through project-based and inquiry-driven instruction. The ideal candidate will inspire students to think creatively, collaborate effectively, and apply problem-solving skills to real-world challenges. Through purposeful integration of technology and the engineering design process, the teacher will foster resilience, innovation, and intellectual confidence across grade levels.
Grounded in a Christ-centered environment, this educator will help students recognize the harmony between faith and reason, guiding them to see scientific discovery and technological advancement as pathways to deeper understanding of God’s creation. The successful candidate will create a dynamic and inclusive classroom culture that supports diverse learners and encourages exploration, ethical responsibility, and stewardship.
The STEM Teacher will collaborate with faculty to integrate cross-curricular connections, support school-wide initiatives, and enhance the overall academic program. Active participation in the spiritual life of the school community, including prayer, liturgies, and service opportunities, is expected.
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field, Education, or a related discipline (required)
Valid state teaching certification (preferred)
Experience with project-based learning and hands-on instructional design (preferred)
Strong technology integration skills
Commitment to the mission and teachings of the Catholic Church
