k2 System Operations Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, monitor, and support K2 workflow and process automation platforms (K2 Five, K2 Cloud, or legacy K2 versions).
• Perform installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching of K2 environments.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of K2 solutions.
• Work closely with business and development teams to support workflow deployment, form updates, and process configurations.
• Maintain and optimize K2 SmartObjects, SmartForms, workflows, and integration points.
• Manage integrations with external systems such as SharePoint, SQL databases, web services, and APIs.
• Perform root-cause analysis for system incidents and propose preventive measures.
• Ensure security compliance, access controls, and user management within the K2 environment.
• Support end users, handle incidents, and provide timely resolution.
• Document operational procedures, environment details, troubleshooting guides, and best practices.
• Participate in testing, system validation, and rollout of new features and enhancements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in K2 system administration or workflow operations.
• Strong working knowledge of:
  • K2 Five / K2 Cloud platforms
  • SmartForms, SmartObjects, workflows
  • K2 Management and Designer tools
  • Integration with SharePoint, SQL Server, and REST/SOAP services
• Proficiency in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and system optimization.
• Basic understanding of .NET, SQL queries, and scripting for automation.
• Strong communication, analytical, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) is a plus.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and automation tools.
• Certifications in BPM, workflow technologies, or K2 (if available).
