Kennel Tech - Dog Training and Day Camp Operations - Hiker - Driver

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Kennel Technician / Dog Hiker to join our dog training and structured day camp program. This role is perfect for someone who loves working with dogs, thrives in an active environment, and wants to build real, hands-on experience in dog behavior and care.

As a Kennel Tech / Hiker, you’ll play an important role in daily operations—helping care for dogs, supporting structured activities, and making sure every dog has a safe, enriching, and well-managed experience.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with daily operations of dog training programs and day camp
• Lead structured leash walks and group hikes
• Supervise group play and ensure safe dog interactions
• Assist with basic training and reinforce positive behavior
• Monitor dog behavior and report any concerns to leadership
• Maintain cleanliness of kennels, play areas, and equipment
• Feed, water, and provide general daily care for dogs
• Support drop-offs, pick-ups, and overall daily flow

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with dogs preferred (daycare, kennel, vet clinic, etc.)
• Strong comfort handling dogs of all sizes and energy levels
• Reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented
• Ability to stay organized and follow direction in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Physical Requirements

• Able to walk 5–8 miles per day
• Lift up to 40 lbs
• Comfortable being on your feet and active throughout the shift

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
