Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Key Account Analyst to join our Corporate Lending team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in evaluating lending opportunities by conducting in-depth financial analysis, building robust Excel-based models, and assessing the creditworthiness of corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) to assess borrower performance and risk.
- Build and maintain complex financial models in Excel to project borrower performance under various scenarios.
- Support the origination and underwriting of corporate loans by preparing credit applications, memos and risk assessments.
- Monitor portfolio companies and provide ongoing analysis to support risk management and compliance.
- Conduct industry and market research to assess borrower performance.
- Work closely with relationship managers, credit officers, and legal teams to facilitate deal execution.
- Assist in structuring loan terms and covenant frameworks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. CFA or CPA a plus.
Experience
- 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, corporate banking, credit risk, or investment banking.
Skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and scenario analysis.
- Solid understanding of financial statements and key credit metrics.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Experience in commercial or corporate lending environments.
- Familiarity with loan structuring, credit risk frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of financial modeling tools.
