Key Account Executive

Istanbul, Turkey

Our client, a leading company in frozen cakes and pastry products , is seeking a dynamic Key Account Executive / Business Development Associate to work directly with the company owner. This role is designed for a motivated young professional who will learn all aspects of the business —from sales and customer management to strategy and operations—while preparing to take on future leadership responsibilities.


Key Responsibilities


  • Work closely with the founder to support daily commercial and strategic activities
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with existing customers (discounters, local retail chains, Horeca)
  • Contribute to new customer acquisition efforts and support market expansion
  • Assist in profitability analysis, pricing, and cost management
  • Prepare regular sales and performance reports, providing actionable insights
  • Monitor market trends and contribute to strategic decision-making
  • Participate in product development, customer-specific projects, and R&D initiatives
  • Coordinate and oversee the management of corporate social media accounts through external agencies


Qualifications


  • 2–3 years of professional experience (preferably in FMCG, food, or related industries)
  • Strong command of English (both written and spoken)
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint in particular)
  • Analytical mindset with solid skills in reporting, calculations, and problem solving
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities
  • Valid driving license
