Key Account Executive -Beverages & Coffee

JOB PURPOSE:

A Sales Executive is a front-line professional responsible for driving sales and fostering strong relationships with clients in the UAE food service sector. This role involves actively seeking new business opportunities, managing a portfolio of existing clients, and achieving sales targets for the company's range of premium beverage brands, including JDE Maxwell, Jacob's coffee, L’OR Coffee, and Davinci. The Sales Executive serves as a brand ambassador, providing excellent customer service and leveraging market knowledge to contribute to the overall growth of the business in the local market.


Principal Accountabilities :

1. Sales and Business Development

  • Proactively identify and pursue new sales leads and opportunities within the UAE HORECA sector (e.g., hotels, restaurants, cafes, caterers) with a specific focus on beverage solutions.
  • Conduct sales calls, presentations, and product demonstrations for premium beverage brands to prospective customers.
  • Negotiate contracts and finalize deals to acquire new accounts.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

2. Account Management and Customer Service

  • Manage and nurture a portfolio of existing client accounts to ensure long-term relationships and high customer satisfaction.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their needs, inquiries, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct regular visits to client sites to maintain relationships and identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities related to beverage products.
  • Provide after-sales support and coordinate with the logistics and operations teams to ensure timely delivery of products.

3. Product Expertise and Market Intelligence

  • Maintain a deep understanding of the assigned beverage product portfolio and their applications, especially related to menu engineering and beverage preparation.
  • Stay informed about local market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies in the Kuwaiti beverage sector.
  • Gather and provide feedback from the market to the Beverages department Head and Regional Customer Experience & Beverages Director to help improve sales strategies and product offerings.

4. Technical and Operational Support

  • Act as the first point of contact for clients regarding technical or quality issues.
  • Coordinate with the Quality Assurance (QA) and technical teams to schedule site assessments, installations, and maintenance activities.
  • Ensure customer concerns are escalated appropriately and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Monitor equipment placements and ensure proper tracking and maintenance follow-up.
  • Facilitate communication between clients and internal technical teams to ensure alignment and customer confidence.

5. Administration and Reporting

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, client interactions, and sales pipelines in the CRM system.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates for the Beverages department Head and Regional Customer Experience & Beverages Director.
  • Work with the finance team to ensure smooth processing of orders, invoices, and payments.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration and Compliance

  • Collaborate with marketing, category management, and supply chain teams to execute brand activations, promotions, and campaigns.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing structures, and contractual terms.
  • Uphold company standards of ethical selling and maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements.

7. Professional Development and Brand Representation

  • Represent the company and beverage brands in a professional manner at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings.
  • Continuously enhance product and industry knowledge through training, certifications, and market research.
  • Contribute to a positive team culture by sharing best practices and supporting colleagues.


EDUCTION AND EXPERIENCE:

  1. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, with a focus on Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  2. Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of proven sales experience , with a preference for the food and beverage industry and the HORECA sector in Kuwait.
