We are seeking a Key Account Manager for Business Development position. This job is for sales persons who are willing to take challenge. We will assist in learning new business and developing strong customer relationships in banking industry within an assigned customer portfolio while achieving assigned sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and develop business relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Assist customers and potential customers in developing customized solutions to their business needs utilizing an appropriate mix of offered products and services.
- Stand by the entire journey. Negotiate the configuration, pricing and implementation of solutions with customers and prospective customers in order to satisfy the needs and ensuring profitability.
- Monitor and coordinate the delivery of services and products to customers to assure they remain satisfied with their relationship.
- Stay abreast of developments in the cards and payments industry, including through ongoing learning, training and certifications, and keep customers and prospective customers informed of new or improved products and services that may be of interest to them.
- Plan sales meetings to exchange information and ideas with senior management regarding sales strategies, pricing, new or improved services and products, customer satisfaction, and other issues related to the promotion, marketing, and sales of products and services.
- Work to exceed or at a minimum meet, monthly sales goals and objectives.
- Travel to key accounts as needed.
- Develop knowledge of own and competitive products, services and pricing structure.
- Obtain and maintain all sales certifications as required.
- Prospect with customer profiles and follow up on leads as required through campaigns and growth of business.
- Develop, implement and review account plans as required.
- Perform Sales funnel and forecast updates as required.
Additional / Non-Essential Responsibilities:

- Establish and maintain relations for key and focus accounts.
- Conduct effective meetings and business reviews with clients.
- Complete required system updates and reports in a timely manner.

Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Energetic and a positive self-starter.
- Intelligent, creative and detail oriented.
- 3 year or more of successful experience in Key Account Specialist and/or Sales Support Specialist roles or prior successful technology sales experience. Preferably in cards & payments industry.
- Proven track record of successful Lead Generation pipeline of prospects to active customers.
- Professional presentation and organizational skills.
- Ability to qualify customer opportunities based on business, technical and decision-making requirements.
- Ability to manage customer relationships and expectations regarding products and services.
- Able to resolve special customer requests.
- Strong presentation, negotiation and closing skills.
- Able to work collaboratively as part of a Sales team.
- Excellent PC and problem solving abilities required. Must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Effective account management skills including regular communication of action plans, comprehensive analysis and sales forecasts.
