Key Account Manager – Institutional Sales

Location: Mumbai (Western, Central, Harbour)

Role Overview:

The Key Account Manager (KAM) will be responsible for identifying, acquiring, and managing key institutional clients—primarily schools and colleges—within the Western, Central, Harbour corridor, including the Thane and Bhiwandi region. This is a field-intensive sales role focused on building long-term relationships and driving sales growth through direct engagement and account management.

Key Responsibilities:

● Identify and target key schools, junior colleges, and educational institutions in the assigned area.

● Generate new leads and sales opportunities through field visits, cold calling, networking, and referrals.

● Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with institutional clients, focusing on repeat and referral business.

● Understand client requirements and recommend appropriate products, services, or educational solutions.

● Conduct regular in-person client meetings to maintain engagement and gather feedback.

● Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide structured reporting on daily, weekly, and monthly activity.

● Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, product development, and customer support to deliver customized solutions.

● Ensure high post-sales service standards and address client concerns promptly.

● Track competitor activity and market trends to identify new growth opportunities.

● Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets through effective planning and execution.

Qualifications:

● Education: Graduate in any discipline. A degree in Business, Marketing, or Education-related fields is a plus.

● Experience: 3–5 years of experience in institutional sales or key account management, preferably in education, publishing, or B2B sectors.

● Location Knowledge: In-depth familiarity with Western, Central, Harbour, Kalyan, Dombivli, Thane, Bhiwandi, and surrounding areas is essential.

Desirable Skills:

● Strong communication and negotiation skills.

● Excellent presentation and interpersonal abilities.

● Ability to work independently with a target-driven approach.

● Prior experience in B2B/Institutional field sales is highly preferred.

● Willingness to travel daily across the assigned zone Western, Central, Harbour

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
