About the Role

As a Key Account Manager, you will develop and maintain long-term relationships with key customers, identify new business opportunities, and ensure customer satisfaction. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver customized solutions, support product launches, and achieve sales targets across the assigned region.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts, acting as the primary point of contact
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for long-term business growth
  • Lead product introduction and launch of Solar Grid Tie Inverters & Hybrid Inverters
  • Prepare and submit business proposals to key account solar developers and EPC customers
  • Conduct key account mapping of targeted customers
  • Drive regional sales performance for all assigned product categories
  • Support forecasting, order processing, and backend sales operations
  • Coordinate with commercial and backend teams to meet product delivery timelines
  • Handle payment follow-ups, collections, and account reconciliation
  • Resolve customer conflicts and manage sales-related escalations
  • Maintain and update all sales records and documentation
  • Monitor sales support activities including invoices, proposals, and payments
  • Collect and analyze competitor and market intelligence
  • Retain and increase market share within assigned accounts
  • Lead, mentor, and support team members
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management from time to time


Desired Candidate Profile

  • Experience: 8–10 years (minimum 6–8 years in Channel Sales)
  • Education: B.E. in Electrical or Electronics (MBA preferred)
  • Proven experience in Solar / Power / Energy industry
  • Strong knowledge of power products, including:
  • UPS
  • Inverters
  • Batteries
  • Solar Panels
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
  • Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities
  • Team handling and mentoring capabilities
