Role Overview
A well-established personal care manufacturer headquartered in Dubai is looking to appoint a Key Account Manager to oversee and expand its presence within the UAE’s modern trade landscape. This position will focus on managing high-profile retail partnerships and driving sustainable commercial growth across personal care categories.
The successful candidate will bring strong knowledge of the UAE retail ecosystem, hands-on experience with large supermarket chains, and a results-driven mindset. This role combines strategic planning, commercial negotiation, and day-to-day account execution.
Key Accountabilities

Own and develop relationships with leading UAE retail groups, including major hypermarket and supermarket chains.

Drive topline growth and profitability by achieving agreed sales targets and margin objectives.

Build and execute annual account plans, including promotions, category initiatives, and joint growth projects.

Track account performance using sales data and market insights, identifying risks and opportunities early.

Ensure smooth execution of product listings, promotional activities, pricing changes, and in-store visibility plans.

Act as the central coordination point between retailers and internal departments such as marketing, supply chain, finance, and manufacturing.

Lead commercial discussions covering contracts, trading terms, rebates, and commercial agreements.

Monitor competitive activity in-store and in-market, sharing actionable recommendations on pricing, promotions, and assortment.

Establish long-term, trust-based relationships with buyers, category managers, and senior retail stakeholders.
Professional Background

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.

Postgraduate qualification (MBA or equivalent) is advantageous but not essential.
Experience Requirements

Minimum of 5–8 years’ experience in a key account or national accounts role within FMCG or personal care.

Direct experience managing large UAE modern trade customers is essential.

Demonstrated success in handling high-value accounts and consistently delivering commercial targets.
