Key Account Manager

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven professional who will be driving end-to-end channel performance and growth across the brand portfolio. It involves strategic ownership of channel activations, business planning, sales forecasting, and account management to ensure delivery of revenue, profitability, and operational excellence.


Experience & Skills Needed

1. Channel Activation & Onboarding

Lead the signing of contracts, negotiation of commercials, and setup of channel accounts for new and existing brands.

Ensure smooth activation and compliance with commercial and operational terms.

2. Account Management

Build and manage strong relationships with channel partners through regular engagement.

Drive joint business planning, aligning on growth drivers, marketing initiatives, and operational goals.

Conduct weekly and monthly business reviews to track performance, identify opportunities, and address challenges.

3. Sales Planning & Forecasting

Act as the primary owner of the channel sales forecast, ensuring accuracy and accountability.

Identify key sales drivers, set growth targets, and monitor sales trends to ensure delivery against plan.

4. Sales Ownership & Performance Tracking

Track weekly performance against budgeted targets, highlighting variances, over delivery, or gaps.

Implement corrective actions to meet revenue and profitability goals.

5. Organic Sales Growth

Identify and implement key levers for improving organic rankings, traffic conversions, and share of sales.

Collaborate with marketing and content teams to optimize visibility and organic performance.

6. Campaign & Event Management

Manage the event and promotional calendar across channels.

Provide inputs on discounting, pricing, and activations to the brand owner to drive seasonal and peak sales performance.

7. Financial Reconciliation & Cost Management

Partner with finance to reconcile channel costs and ensure adherence to allocated budgets.

Maintain cost efficiency across trade spends, commissions, and marketing investments.
