About the role

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for maintaining excellent relationships with all customers in order to secure orders and improve sales opportunities for the MDS (Medication Delivery Solutions) products within their area of responsibility.

They will develop new business by identifying key accounts, setting appointments and making effective presentations on behalf of BD. In addition, they will coordinate promotional activities, educational programs, clinical trials, new product launches, and other related events.

Main responsibilities will include:

• To achieve sales target for assigned accounts through regular customer visits.
• Develop and implement marketing plans aligned with corporate strategies to achieve profitability and growth targets for each account under their control.
• Ensure achievement of sales budgets and other financial targets set for each account.
• Build and maintain strong, positive working relationships with all customers and decision makers to ensure their continued use of the Company’s products and services.
• Maintain detailed records on all accounts including customer information, purchasing protocols, selling techniques, and market trends.
• Provide feedback to the Marketing Department on customer needs, preferences, and competitor activity.
• Attend conferences and seminars to stay current on industry trends and changes.

About you

• Bachelor’s degree in science or a healthcare related field.
• Minimum of 4 years relevant experience in medical device sales/medical consumables is a must.
• Consistent track record in achieving sales targets and meeting financial objectives.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Highly motivated with an ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to travel extensively within the region.
