The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As our Business keeps on growing, we are looking for a Key Account Manager to join our Medical Devices team in Turkey.

As a Key Account Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. This role will report to the National Sales Leader and will make directly and indirectly impact by:

  • Managing important accounts with all functions by being a bridge between customer and Solventum
  • Driving indirect sales team to detail Solventum solutions to Health Care Professionals with passion
  • Developing a regional sales plan to prioritize account calls, activities, penetration, and usage
  • Managing the entire tender process, in close collaboration with Bid Office
  • Managing the sales cycle from opportunity identification to order execution
  • Analyzing Sales, Market and Opportunity data to drive and adjust the own sales plan
  • Driving utilization of the company product portfolio, according to the planned product mix objective
  • Developing and managing a favorable relationship with key decision makers (from physicians to procurement and from top-management to nurses)
  • Supporting product testing and demo
  • Participating in customer events (congress, workshop, hospital meetings, etc)
  • Using Evidence-Based approach in the sales calls (Scientific Studies, Health Economics, etc

Territory & Portfolio
Your assigned region is Turkey.
The portfolio you will promote is mainly IV Dressings, Wound Care, Normothermia, Sterilization, Vascular Access, Perioperative, Patient Preparation solutions.

Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree (Business or Clinical is preferred)
  • Previous sales experience, at least 2 years, in medical device market
  • Strong knowledge of Hospital (tender-driven) mechanisms/dynamics
  • Value-selling skills
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Good presentation and networking skills
  • English language knowledge (intermediate spoken and written)
  • Flexibility to travel across the assigned territory
  • Microsoft Office proficient, CRM Salesforce.com a plus
  • Current, valid Driver’s License.

Company Vehicle
This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position.

Work location:
  • Remote, Turkey. (Ideal Candidates are based in Istanbul or Ankara or Izmir)

Travel: May include up to 60% domestic
