Key Account Manager - MICE

Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

This position is responsible for managing a commercial process, namely identifying commercial opportunities, executing sales and marketing activities and driving profitable client relationships within the MICE segment. The scope of the role is primarily business development, product selection and configuration, Key Account Management and revenue management.


  • Collaborate as required with the Product team to secure best deals by leveraging overall group production and relations.
  • Negotiate tailor-made rates, conditions and overrides for all groups and MICE as and when applicable.
  • Manage response process of all Request for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Manage Meeting & Incentive tourism, Events and VIP services.
  • Select and/or package products from catalogue matching client requirements.
  • Oversee the execution of local operation for MICE by Operations to be in line with the client requirements.
  • Develop preliminary budget forecast based on historical client performance and expected market developments (new clients, new products, competition, airlift changes, etc.).
  • Set the financial year targets at Sales Representative and Client level and actively monitor performance of team to achieve these targets.
  • Keep up to date with market developments such as competitor commercial activities and product offerings.
  • Drive the CRM reporting and generation of comprehensive analysis reports in accordance with business requirements.
  • Direct the team to actively engage with clients to understand their challenges and develop joint solutions.
