Key Account Manager – Power & Water

Role Purpose
The Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for driving strategic account growth, strengthening long-term client relationships, and ensuring high customer satisfaction for Industrial Instrument and Control Systems (IICS). This role focuses on understanding client requirements, proposing tailored solutions, and aligning IICS’s offerings with client business objectives across the Power and Water sectors. The KAM will play a critical role in achieving sales targets, expanding the solutions portfolio, and maximizing revenue from high-value accounts.
Responsibilities
1. Sales & Revenue Generation

Manage and grow key accounts within the Saudi market, primarily in Power and Water sectors.

Develop and execute strategic account plans to meet or exceed assigned sales and revenue targets.

Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within existing accounts.

Work closely with the Sales Director to forecast revenue and support financial planning.
2. Account Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across client organizations.

Serve as the primary point of contact for all commercial, technical, and support-related matters.

Conduct regular client meetings to understand needs, communicate updates, and identify growth areas.

Lead the full sales cycle—from opportunity identification to deal closure—ensuring customer satisfaction and business alignment.
3. Contract & Negotiation Management

Lead contract negotiations, including terms, pricing, and conditions, in coordination with legal and finance teams.

Monitor contract performance to ensure all obligations are met, resolving issues proactively.
4. Client Needs Assessment & Solution Development

Work with internal technical teams to deliver tailored control systems, BMS, SCADA, OT, IoT, and digital solutions, including RO plant optimization and energy AI solutions.

Provide feedback to support product enhancement and development based on client insights.
5. Market Research & Competitive Intelligence

Stay informed about industry trends, customer priorities, and competitor activities.

Use market insights to identify new growth opportunities and strengthen IICS’s position within key accounts.
Industry / Domain Experience:
Control Systems, SCADA, BMS, AI, IoT, OT, Power & Water Industries.
Required Knowledge & Experience

5–10 years of experience in key account management or technical sales within the Power and Water sector.

Demonstrated experience managing complex solution-based sales cycles.

Strong market access and established network within relevant industries.
Education & Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering (mandatory).
