We are seeking a talented Key Account Manager for the Middle East region, based in Istanbul(TR), to join our Sales team at Dayco.

Summary of the position:

The Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for managing and expanding strategic relationships with Tier 1 and Tier 2 customers across the region. This role is pivotal in developing long-term partnerships with our most valuable accounts, driving growth, and ensuring the delivery of tailored solutions that align with the customer’s business objectives.

The KAM owns and executes the sales strategy for each assigned account, ensuring revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and long-term engagement. The role involves orchestrating internal resources, navigating complex organizational structures, and negotiating strategic agreements that reflect a deep understanding of the customer’s needs and market dynamics.

Main duties & responsibilities:

  • Account Ownership & Strategy
    • Own and lead the overall strategy and relationship for assigned Tier 1 and Tier 2 Key Accounts.
    • Develop and execute detailed, cross-functional account plans aligned with customer-specific goals and growth opportunities.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, fostering trust-based relationships across all levels of the customer organization.
    • Represent the full portfolio of products and services, delivering tailored value propositions to meet strategic business needs.
  • Customer Relationship Management
    • Build deep, long-term relationships to become a trusted advisor within each customer’s organization.
    • Ensure ongoing engagement through regular touchpoints, executive briefings, and value-added interactions.
    • Navigate and influence complex decision-making structures within customer organizations.
  • Sales Execution & Negotiation
    • Lead complex deal negotiations and contract management processes, with a clear understanding of the customer’s needs and expectations.
    • Drive sell-through and sell-out performance across the customer network.
    • Secure contract renewals and long-term agreements that ensure sustainable value for both parties.
  • Internal Collaboration
    • Coordinate internal resources to deliver solutions effectively and efficiently.
    • Serve as a voice of the customer internally, influencing product development, service improvements, and strategic initiatives.
  • Growth & Performance Management
    • Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities within existing accounts to expand share of wallet (SOW).
    • Monitor and analyze account performance, ensuring accurate sales forecasts and performance tracking.
    • Drive customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention through consistent delivery of value and service excellence.
Requirements and Skills :

  • Based in Istanbul, Turkey
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial roles, preferably in the Automotive Aftermarket and/or the Middle East region.
  • Fluency in English
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong negotiation and deal-closing skills.
  • Business acumen and deep understanding of customer industries and market dynamics
  • Ability to manage and influence complex, matrixed organizations
  • Collaborative mindset with strong internal stakeholder management
  • High level of autonomy and accountability
  • Exceptional relationship building and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strategic thinking and long-term planning capability
