Key Account Sales Specialist
position in the
Central
region.
Role Summary:
To support the achievement of sales, visibility, and distribution objectives within International Modern Trade (IMT) channels by managing day-to-day operations, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring effective execution of trade activities across key accounts such as Metro Cash & Carry, Carrefour, Imtiaz, and Al-Fatah.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Account Management & Sales Execution

Assist in achieving sales, visibility, and distribution targets for assigned IMT accounts.

Support the implementation of account-specific business plans and promotional activities.

Ensure timely delivery of stock to stores by coordinating with supply chain and logistics teams.

Track and monitor sales performance against agreed targets and KPIs.

Ensure product availability and shelf presence in all assigned IMT outlets.
2. Trade Marketing & Promotions
-
Execute trade marketing initiatives, in-store activations, and promotional plans as per the annual agreements.

Ensure proper placement of POS materials and compliance with visibility standards.

Gather feedback from the market on trade promotions, pricing, and competitor activities.
3. Relationship Management
-
Build and maintain strong working relationships with store managers, category managers, and buyers at IMT accounts.

Act as a key point of contact for day-to-day coordination between the company and customers.

Support in negotiating short-term tactical opportunities within the framework of agreed contracts.
4. E-Commerce & Data Management
-
Support e-commerce operations by coordinating order processing, stock replenishment, and listing management.

Monitor and report online sales performance and promotional effectiveness.

Analyze sales data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
5. Financial & Operational Control
-
Monitor trade spending and ensure compliance with approved budgets.

Follow up on outstanding payments and assist in ensuring timely credit recovery from IMT accounts.

Maintain accurate documentation of deals, claims, and trade activities.
6. Coordination & Reporting
-
Prepare and share periodic performance reports, dashboards, and competitor analyses.

Collaborate with supply chain, finance, and marketing teams to ensure smooth business operations.

Provide insights and recommendations to management based on market observations and data analysis.
What We’re Looking For:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

3–6 years of experience in key account management, sales, or trade marketing, preferably in FMCG or retail.

Proven leadership skills with a strong track record of delivering results.

Excellent understanding of market dynamics.
-
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
-
Proficiency in MS Office and field sales technology platforms.
