Summary:
The Key Accounts Manager is responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with major clients to ensure business growth, retention, and satisfaction. The position focuses on understanding client needs, maintaining long-term relationships, and maximizing account profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strategic plans to manage and grow key client accounts.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for major customers.
- Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts.
- Coordinate with operations, logistics, and finance for order execution.
- Track sales performance, prepare forecasts, and present management reports.
- Resolve issues and ensure prompt responses to client queries.
Employer Requirements:
- MBA or Graduate in Business, Marketing, or Commerce.
- 3–5 years of experience in account management or industrial/B2B sales.
- Proven experience in managing high-value clients.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Excel.
