Job summary/Role description


Ensure, manage and monitor all the post order activities for the critical supplies assigned, to ensure the achievement of the results in terms of safety, schedule, quality and budget defined by the Project Team, in strict coordination with the Post Order Manager.



Duties and responsibilities


Under the Post Order Management Vice President assignment:

  • Whenever the Company deems necessary to dedicate a resource for critical supplies that require high managerial capability due to Purchase Order complexity in terms of value, contractual clauses, coordination, technical & schedule risks, manufacturing, erection implications etc , the Key Supply PO Manager represents the Company towards such Vendor;

  • For the assigned orders he is the focal point for all the post order activities;

  • The Key Supply Post Order Manager is responsible of the management of the contractual aspects and the multidisciplinary coordination of the Purchase Order with the Vendor, taking into account the engineering, procurement, manufacturing and erection activities, in coordination with the Project Procurement Manager and the Post Order Manager;

  • Operates in strict coordination with Purchasing Materials Department, the Discipline Leader relevant to the captioned Supply, the Project Engineering Manager, the Project Control Manager, the Project Contract Manager and the Site Manager assuring uniformity with the other parts of the project, in compliance with contractual requirements in terms of costs, time and quality of the supplies, following the instruction of PD/PM and Project Procurement Manager.




Person Specification


Knowledge & Qualifications


  • University Degree/ Diploma or relevant field.



Experience


  • At least 18 years of relevant experience in construction of large oil & gas plants/EPC projects


Skills and Abilities


  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills

  • Attention to detail, management skills.

  • Team-oriented skills, self-motivation, and direction, with strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution.
