Kids activity coordinator

Job Overview

Duties

• Plan, organize, and lead diverse activities including arts and crafts, sports and educational games tailored to different age groups
• Manage behavior using positive behavior management techniques to maintain a safe and inclusive environment
• Ensure all activities comply with safety standards by conducting regular safety checks and maintaining cleanliness
• Provide first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any emergencies or incidents involving children
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and staff to understand individual needs, special education requirements, or behavioral considerations.

Skills

• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to oversee multiple activities simultaneously
• Knowledge of first aid procedures and child safety protocols
• Experience working with children in daycare, camp, tutoring, or childcare settings.
• Excellent teaching abilities combined with patience and empathy for working with children of diverse backgrounds
• Familiarity with behavior management techniques to promote positive conduct.
• Strong communication skills to engage children positively and collaborate with parents and team members.
