Follow all main equipment vibration condition, analyses the vibration spectrum and give the recommended action according to deep analyses
Follow up plant equipment KPIs, RF, PF and UF. Perform all types of specific inspection (Magnetic Crack detectors test, vibration analyzer test, thickness measurements, inspection by stroboscope, die penetrant test, florescent powder test).
Follow up all equipment KPIs and perform monthly reliability meeting.
Perform RCA meeting for all stoppages more than 6 hours and give the most possible action to eliminate the stoppages.
Follow up the oil analysis for all equipment.
Issue and follow all work cycle throw SAP
Perform balancing and laser alignment for all process fans.
Controls the accurate execution of the maintenance schedule of all mechanical infrastructure, e.g. Line 4, according to procedures and assigns the necessary resources according to needs, supporting the efficient operation of the plant and meet of agreed monthly and annual production targets specifically for kilns reliability, performance and utilization factors.
Follows all mechanical maintenance procedures, evaluating their effectiveness and proposing improvements that will enable the mechanical maintenance to function in the most effective way
Proceeds to the optimization of mechanical maintenance operations, using the most proper tools and methods, in order to maximize equipment availability and effectiveness
Evaluates the work performed and delivered from his team and vendors, providing all the necessary support for its efficient and timely execution and ensuring that equipment is in good operating condition and fully inspected, tested and ready to meet operational requirements
Monitors and evaluates the efficiency of the mechanical maintenance activities providing analytical reporting of results, e.g. maintenance progress report, consumption of materials, specific tools, man hours, including services from external suppliers and focuses on identifying areas for operational improvement, as well as identifying the most suitable suppliers of spare parts and services that meet company standards
Conducts mechanical operational assessment, executing proactive maintenance operations, identifying issues of consideration and proceeds to all the adequate steps and actions when electrical incidents occur
Identifies the operational needs for kilns and utilities of his area of responsibility in terms of equipment, spare parts or resources, and communicates them with his/her supervisor, assisting in the development of the department’s budget. Provides technical insight and support for the development of the 3 years investment plan
Motivates, develops and manages his team in a way that ensures high level of initiative, cooperation and personal development opportunities
Ensures that safe work rules and practices are understood, implemented and consistently followed by the Maintenance department employees and subcontractors
Follows the appropriate health, safety and environmental practices in for kilns and utilities area of responsibility, identifying and reporting issues of consideration in order to meet company, corporate and governmental standards.
Job Specifications
Education & Experience
University degree in mechanical engineering
5 - 7 years of relevant work experience within an large industrial organisation of the cement sector
Technical Skills
Very good knowledge of cement products and cement production processes
Advanced knowledge of maintenance management methods of predictive inspection tools
Very good knowledge of general mechanical and industrial automation
Knowledge of safety laws and regulations
Analytical and conceptual thinking
