Kindergarten Teacher

Position Summary

We are seeking a nurturing, enthusiastic Kindergarten Teacher to join our Federal Way team this August. You’ll design an engaging curriculum, foster a positive classroom atmosphere, and guide children through their critical early school experiences.

* Key Responsibilities

• Design & implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with state standards
• Create a classroom environment that promotes curiosity, independence, and joyful learning
• Assess and document student progress, communicating regularly with families
• Collaborate with classroom team and leadership to meet school-wide goals
• Participate in events, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development sessions

* Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (required)
• Master in Education or related fields ( Preferred)
• Early childhood or kindergarten teaching experience (3+ year preferred)
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and classroom management skills
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain promptly)
• Passion for nurturing early learners in a supportive, dynamic environment
• Washington State Teaching Certificate

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary between $23- $27 hourly, based on experience and credentials.
