Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Kindergarten Teacher to join our ICSE school. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing, stimulating, and engaging learning environment that supports the holistic development of young learners. The teacher will foster curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning while ensuring alignment with ICSE early childhood education standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons based on ICSE guidelines and the school’s curriculum framework.

Create a positive, inclusive, and child-friendly classroom environment that encourages exploration and self-expression.

Develop and implement interactive teaching aids, learning activities, and play-based learning experiences.

Observe, assess, and document each child’s progress in cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development.

Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and classroom activities.

Maintain classroom discipline through positive reinforcement and effective classroom management techniques.

Encourage teamwork, empathy, and good manners among children.

Participate in staff meetings, school events, and professional development programs.

Ensure safety and hygiene standards are maintained in the classroom and during outdoor activities.

Collaborate with fellow teachers and administrators to enhance the kindergarten program.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education / Nursery Teacher Training (NTT) / Montessori / B.Ed (preferably with ICSE experience).

Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a kindergarten or pre-primary section, preferably in an ICSE-affiliated school.

Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Creative lesson planning and storytelling ability.

Patience, empathy, and enthusiasm for working with young children.

Strong classroom management and organizational skills.

Fluency in English (spoken and written).

Work Schedule:

Full-time position, Monday to saturday.
