Position Summary

The Kindergarten Teacher will play a vital role in establishing the foundation for our inaugural academic year. This educator will create a warm, engaging, and structured classroom environment that fosters curiosity, creativity, and foundational academic skills. The teacher will design and implement lessons aligned with early learning standards while integrating character and faith-based development throughout instruction.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities.
  • Establish clear classroom routines that promote respect, responsibility, and independence.
  • Assess student performance and communicate progress to parents and administrators.
  • Integrate faith-based principles and positive character development into daily instruction.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to shape and support the school’s founding culture and programs.
  • Maintain accurate attendance, grading, and student records.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.
  • Ensure a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related field (required).
  • Florida Teacher Certification (preferred or in progress).
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience teaching early childhood or primary grades.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Passion for working with young children and contributing to a faith-based learning community.

Work Schedule

  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
    Additional hours may be required for classroom setup, planning, and events prior to the school’s opening.
