We are seeking an energetic and passionate Kindergarten Teacher to join our vibrant educational community. In this role, you will inspire curiosity, develop foundational skills, and support the holistic growth of our young learners. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages exploration, creativity, and confidence. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's early educational experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, and social-emotional learning
  • Foster a safe, inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and respectful interactions
  • Incorporate learning technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance student engagement and understanding
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum development strategies and participate in ongoing professional development
  • Support children with special needs or those requiring early intervention services, including working with students with autism or other developmental challenges
  • Conduct assessments and standardized testing to monitor progress and tailor instruction accordingly
  • Mentor new teachers and provide guidance on classroom management, instructional strategies, and curriculum implementation

Qualifications

  • Proven classroom experience in early childhood education or kindergarten settings.
  • Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, literacy education, math instruction, and behavior management techniques
  • Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and integrating learning technology tools
  • Familiarity with the Montessori method of Education, or private school environments is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills for working effectively with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators
  • Ability to proofread instructional materials for accuracy and clarity
  • Demonstrated skills in tutoring, working with children with diverse needs—including those with autism—and supporting early intervention efforts.
