About the role

We’re looking for an experienced Kitchen & Bathroom Fitter who lives in or near Birmingham, wants steady local work, and is keen to grow with a business expanding across the West Midlands and beyond.

You’ll be delivering high-quality kitchen and bathroom installations as part of our wider refurbishment, retrofit, and social housing programmes — and you’ll play a key role in shaping what PBG West Midlands becomes.

What you’ll be responsible for

You’ll carry out the installation and refurbishment of kitchens and bathrooms across occupied homes, delivering safe, tidy, and professional work every time.

Typical responsibilities include:

• Full installation and replacement of kitchens and bathrooms
• Fitting kitchen units, worktops, sinks, taps, baths, toilets, showers, and associated fixtures
• Basic plumbing, tiling, patch plastering, and finishing works
• Removal and disposal of existing kitchens and bathrooms
• Accurate measuring, fitting, sealing, and finishing
• Ensuring installations meet building regulations and manufacturer specifications
• Working within PAS 2030 / retrofit environments (where applicable)
• Clear communication with occupants and site teams
• Completing job paperwork, photos, and evidence accurately and on time
• Maintaining a high standard of customer experience in social housing settings

What we’re looking for

Essential

• Proven experience as a Kitchen & Bathroom Fitter
• Plumbing, tiling, or multi-trade qualifications
• CSCS card or equivalent industry certification
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Good understanding of health & safety on occupied sites
• Ability to carry out multi-skilled fitting and finishing works
• Based in Birmingham or surrounding West Midlands
• Full UK driving licence

Desirable

• Experience in social housing or occupied properties
• Familiarity with retrofit or energy efficiency projects
