Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Kitchen and Closet Designer to transform living spaces into functional, stylish, and personalized environments. In this role, you will collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs, develop innovative design solutions, and bring visions to life through expert drafting and visualization. Your expertise will help clients optimize their kitchens and closets, blending aesthetics with practicality while managing project timelines and budgets. Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to assess their space requirements, style preferences, and functional needs for kitchens and closets.
• Create detailed design concepts using tools such as SketchUp or Mozaik.
• Develop comprehensive project proposals including material selections, lighting design considerations, color schemes based on color theory, and budgeting estimates.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure seamless execution of design plans during renovation or remodeling projects.
• Prepare detailed drafting documents using Bluebeam and Drafting techniques to facilitate construction and installation processes.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and contracts to ensure projects are completed efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Stay current with industry trends in lighting sales, interior design innovations, and construction techniques to offer cutting-edge solutions for clients.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in kitchen and closet design or interior design with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant projects.
• Proficiency in SketchUp, Mozaik and CAD software.
• Knowledge of lighting design principles, lighting sales strategies, remodelling processes, renovation techniques, and construction practices.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills for client consultations and collaboration with contractors or vendors.
• Familiarity with contracts management, budgeting processes, and interior design standards, including color theory.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
