Kitchen & Bath Designer/ Sales

Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Kitchen Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for interior design and a strong understanding of kitchen renovations. This role involves working closely with clients to create functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen layouts that meet their needs and preferences. The Kitchen Designer will engage in both inside and outside sales, utilizing strong communication skills to negotiate and upsell products while providing exceptional customer service. The candidate must be proficient in Cad or be willing to learn the system.

Duties

• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for kitchen renovations.
• Utilize design software such as SketchUp and CAD to create detailed kitchen layouts and renderings.
• Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits of various kitchen products.
• Manage account relationships, ensuring client satisfaction throughout the design process.
• Assist clients with material selection, lighting design, and layout optimization for functionality.
• Engage in high-end sales strategies, including upselling additional features or products.
• Maintain knowledge of current trends in kitchen design, renovation techniques, and construction practices.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Perform retail sales activities including cashiering, stock management, and merchandising within the showroom environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in kitchen design or a related field such as interior design or remodeling.
• Strong skills in outside sales, negotiation, and account management are essential.
• Proficiency in design software such as SketchUp and CAD is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with construction processes, renovation techniques, and lighting sales is beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele; multilingual abilities are a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in layout design and project management.
• Basic math skills for retail math calculations related to sales transactions and inventory management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
