Why This Role Matters
We’re looking for a design-driven Kitchen & Bath Sales Designer to join our showroom team and serve walk-in clients, remodelers, and small builders. You’ll be the trusted guide for customers as they make cabinetry choices for kitchens, bathrooms, closets, and more.
This is a great fit for someone who blends sales acumen with design skill and enjoys fast-moving, high-touch interactions in a creative, client-facing environment.
Responsibilities
· Welcome and assist homeowners, remodelers, and builders in selecting cabinetry styles, finishes, and layouts
· Use design software to create functional and visually appealing kitchen and bath layouts
· Provide accurate quotes, close sales, and guide clients through the order process from design to delivery
· Present clear and detailed design proposals with renderings and specifications to secure client approvals
· Coordinate with internal teams to ensure project accuracy and production-readiness
· Maintain showroom standards and assist in improving client experience and sales processes
· Cultivate repeat business through relationship-building and reliable follow-through
· Stay current on product offerings, lead times, and industry trends to best serve client needs
Qualifications
Required:
· 2+ years of experience in kitchen and bath design, cabinet sales, or interior design
· Familiarity with design software (e.g., 2020, SketchUp, or similar)
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills - you know how to listen, guide, and close
· Highly organized and detail-oriented; comfortable managing multiple active projects
· Experience working with or selling to small builders, contractors, or homeowners
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, in-person sales environment
Preferred:
· Degree in Interior Design or related field
· Experience in a kitchen & bath showroom or design center
· Familiarity with custom cabinetry, finishes, and lead-time dynamics
