Amy Kalikow Design is a high-end residential firm seeking an energetic, positive, professional Senior/Intermediate designer that is ready to hit the ground running. Candidate must share the firms warmth, clean lines and modern aesthetic sensibility. Ideal candidate must be able and willing to take the lead and really move projects forward, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and must be extremely detail oriented, organized and able to easily multitask. They will assist Principal and other team members in all phases of interior design from conception to execution. Tasks include but are not limited to: generate, create, and manage FF&E schedules and budgets, including sourcing and specifying furniture, furnishes and lighting, measure and create room layouts, design lighting plans and custom furniture drawings, fabric sourcing, mood board creation and presentation, placing/supervising orders and installation. Candidate will interface with clients and other members of the design team and will work in the office and on project job sites.

REQUIREMENTS:

Candidate must be fluent in AutoCad, have at least 3-4 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN AN INTERIOR DESIGN FIRM, be organized, detail obsessed and able to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Strong work ethic and positive attitude are a must. Candidate must reside in NYC or surrounding area as position is not remote.
