Job Summary
SALT Pakistan is seeking dedicated, hardworking, and passionate individuals to join its Kitchen Operations team in Karachi. The selected candidates will be responsible for maintaining food quality, hygiene standards, operational efficiency, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations in accordance with company SOPs.
Qualification
- Matric, Intermediate, Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree (depending on position).
- Professional culinary training will be considered an advantage.
Experience Requirements Kitchen Crew / Kitchen Helper
- 0 to 2 years of relevant experience.
- Fresh candidates with a willingness to learn may also apply.
Kitchen Supervisor
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of kitchen operations experience.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
Kitchen Assistant Supervisor
- Minimum 2 to 4 years of relevant kitchen experience.
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety standards.
Kitchen Assistant Manager
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in restaurant or hospitality kitchen operations.
- Proven leadership and team management experience.
Key Responsibilities Kitchen Crew / Kitchen Helper
- Assist in food preparation and kitchen operations.
- Follow recipes, SOPs, and food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in work areas.
- Support kitchen staff during operational hours.
- Ensure proper handling of ingredients and equipment.
Kitchen Supervisor
- Supervise kitchen staff and daily kitchen operations.
- Ensure food quality and presentation standards.
- Monitor cleaning schedules and food safety compliance.
- Manage shift operations and team discipline.
- Control wastage and monitor inventory usage.
Kitchen Assistant Supervisor
- Support the Kitchen Supervisor in managing daily operations.
- Monitor food preparation and service quality.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs and hygiene standards.
- Assist in staff training and performance monitoring.
Kitchen Assistant Manager
- Oversee overall kitchen operations and team performance.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
- Monitor inventory, food costs, and wastage control.
- Conduct staff coaching, training, and performance evaluations.
- Coordinate with management to achieve operational goals.
- Ensure readiness for audits and inspections.

Working Hours
