Overview:
Position Overview
At Foundation Building Materials (FBM), the Kitchen Cabinet Designer drives both design excellence and sales performance in our premier Honolulu showroom. In this role, you’ll guide customers from initial consultation through final product selection, providing expert recommendations on cabinetry, appliances, and flooring.

We’re seeking a motivated, results-driven professional with proven kitchen cabinet design sales experience, strong communication and presentation skills, and proficiency in 2020 Design software. Responsibilities and Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Sales Support
  • Develops and delivers sales presentations for new and existing customers using 2020 Design Software
  • Works in our top design showroom meeting with customers, builders and architects
  • Professional and courteous ongoing contact with customers before, during and after a sale
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with key influencers of assigned contractors and/or strategic partners
  • Make sales calls to new and existing customers, architects, contractors, designers, and building owners
Trainings
  • Attend and participate in required company training sessions and essential vendor training courses.
Miscellaneous
  • Support Our Foundation in the stated areas of Safety, Customer Focus, Teamwork, Integrity and being a Company of Choice for both employees and customers
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Effective and skillful communication skills, negotiation, and computer skills along with the drive and passion to succeed
  • Great interpersonal skills and social competency
  • Professional demeanor, organized and reliable

  • Ambition, a strong work ethic, and a student mentality
  • Results driven attitude
  • Preferred Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • At least two years of previous experience in Sales in building materials industry preferred
  • Knowledgeable and proficient in Microsoft Office Products
Compensation and Benefits:

Compensation
The listed pay range reflects the expected base rate for the position; actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications and cost of living in the assigned market. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

  • Base: $28.85 -$40.86 per hour
