This position is a base plus commission and bonuses.

Duties

• Meet with clients to discuss their kitchen renovation goals, preferences, and budget considerations
• Measure existing kitchen spaces precisely using tools like tape measures, laser distance meters, and digital measuring devices
• Create detailed 2D and 3D design layouts utilizing software.
• Develop comprehensive project plans including cabinetry layouts, lighting design, color schemes, and material selections
• Prepare accurate proposals and contracts that outline scope of work, materials, costs, and timelines
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution and timely delivery
• Conduct on-site measurements during installation phases to verify specifications and make adjustments as needed

Skills

• Proficiency in design software including SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam, and 3ds Max
• Strong drafting skills with an eye for detail and accuracy in measurements and technical drawings
• Knowledge of interior design principles such as color theory, lighting design, remodeling techniques, and construction processes
• Experience with project management tools to oversee multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality standards
• Excellent communication skills for client consultations and team collaboration
• Familiarity with contracts, budgeting practices, and sales processes related to kitchen renovations and lighting sales
• Ability to interpret architectural plans and technical specifications effectively
